Tj Meenach Whitewater

Half Day

Take a thrilling and splash-filled river trip down the lower Spokane River Gorge. Together you will play river games and swim in the flat water sections then navigate two brief but intense rapids named Bowl and Pitcher and Devil’s Toenail. The four-hour trip will conclude with plenty of time to explore the city after getting a healthy dose of nature and adrenaline!

We will be entering the river at the TJ Meenach Bridge. You will have 1.5-2 hours to play river games, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Spokane river prior to approaching the first rapid.

Next, you will leisurely float into Riverside State Park, the second largest state park in Washington State where you will encounter Bowl and Pitcher Rapid. Named for a two stunning basalt formations Bowl and Pitcher is a class III rapid that will get your heart going and your adrenaline pumping.

The next rapid, Devil’s Toenail, is also named for a basalt formation. You will be able to complete your adventure comparing whitewater experiences, playing river games and lounging on the raft before you end your trip at Please Flats.

  • Towel for after the trip (optional)
  • Non-cotton base layers for cold days
